Capital One Miles Transfer Partners: Current Ratios as of August 2026
Capital One has 22 corroborated direct transfer partners, including 18 airline programs and four hotel programs. Most transfer at 1:1, but JAL, Emirates, EVA Air, JetBlue, Accor, and I Prefer use different ratios.
We check the math and timestamp it. You confirm the seat at booking. We never show live award availability.

Key takeaways
- Capital One has 22 corroborated direct transfer partners as of August 13, 2026.
- Most airline partners transfer at 1:1, while JAL, Emirates, EVA Air, and JetBlue receive fewer partner miles.
- I Prefer returns two hotel points per Capital One mile, while Accor returns one point for every two Capital One miles.
- Hilton Honors and Virgin Red appeared in our data but were not verified well enough to treat as confirmed partners.
- Confirm the award seat and total cash cost before transferring because transfers cannot normally be reversed.
Capital One airline transfer partners
Capital One had 18 corroborated direct airline partners as of August 13, 2026.
The ratio column shows Capital One miles required for each unit of partner currency. A 1:1 ratio means 1,000 Capital One miles become 1,000 airline miles. A 1.333:1 ratio means you need about 1,333 Capital One miles to receive 1,000 airline miles.
| Airline program | Capital One to partner ratio | Partner miles from 1,000 Capital One miles | Observed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Aeromexico Club Premier | 1:1 | 1,000 | August 13, 2026 |
| Air Canada Aeroplan | 1:1 | 1,000 | August 13, 2026 |
| Air France-KLM Flying Blue | 1:1 | 1,000 | August 13, 2026 |
| Avianca LifeMiles | 1:1 | 1,000 | August 13, 2026 |
| British Airways Executive Club (Avios) | 1:1 | 1,000 | August 13, 2026 |
| Cathay Asia Miles | 1:1 | 1,000 | August 13, 2026 |
| Emirates Skywards | 1.333:1 | About 750 | August 13, 2026 |
| Etihad Guest | 1:1 | 1,000 | August 13, 2026 |
| EVA Air Infinity MileageLands | 1.333:1 | About 750 | August 13, 2026 |
| Finnair Plus (Avios) | 1:1 | 1,000 | August 13, 2026 |
| JAL Mileage Bank | 1.333:1 | About 750 | August 12, 2026 |
| JetBlue TrueBlue | 1.667:1 | About 600 | August 13, 2026 |
| Qantas Frequent Flyer | 1:1 | 1,000 | August 13, 2026 |
| Qatar Airways Privilege Club (Avios) | 1:1 | 1,000 | August 13, 2026 |
| Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer | 1:1 | 1,000 | August 13, 2026 |
| TAP Miles&Go | 1:1 | 1,000 | August 13, 2026 |
| Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles | 1:1 | 1,000 | August 13, 2026 |
| Virgin Atlantic Flying Club | 1:1 | 1,000 | August 13, 2026 |
JAL, Emirates, and EVA Air require about one-third more Capital One miles than the award price shown by the airline program. JetBlue requires roughly two-thirds more. For example, a 60,000-mile JetBlue redemption would require about 100,000 Capital One miles at the observed baseline ratio.
Older JAL reporting described its ratio as 1,000 Capital One miles to 750 JAL miles. That is mathematically equivalent to the 1.333:1 ratio in our graph, not a conflicting rate.
Capital One hotel transfer partners
Capital One had four corroborated direct hotel partners as of August 13, 2026.
| Hotel program | Capital One to partner ratio | Partner points from 1,000 Capital One miles | Observed |
|---|---|---|---|
| ALL Accor Live Limitless | 2:1 | 500 | August 13, 2026 |
| Choice Privileges | 1:1 | 1,000 | August 13, 2026 |
| I Prefer Hotel Rewards | 1:2 | 2,000 | August 13, 2026 |
| Wyndham Rewards | 1:1 | 1,000 | August 13, 2026 |
The largest number of hotel points is not automatically the best value. Hotel currencies have different redemption prices and rules. Compare the cash price with the number of Capital One miles required after applying the transfer ratio.
Partners and transfer routes that still need confirmation
Hilton Honors and Virgin Red appeared in our August 2026 data but remain unverified, so do not transfer based on this page alone.
| Program or route | Recorded ratio | Recorded minimum | Status | Observed |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hilton Honors | 0.666667:1 | 100 Capital One miles | Unverified direct relationship | August 12, 2026 |
| Virgin Red | 1:1 | Not recorded | Unverified direct relationship | August 12, 2026 |
| Aer Lingus AerClub via British Airways | 1:1 | 1,000 miles | Unverified indirect Avios route | August 12, 2026 |
| Iberia Plus via British Airways | 1:1 | 1,000 miles | Unverified indirect Avios route | August 12, 2026 |
The recorded Hilton ratio would turn 1,000 Capital One miles into about 1,500 Hilton points. We have not corroborated that relationship, so check your Capital One transfer screen before relying on it.
Aer Lingus and Iberia are different cases. Our graph records routes through British Airways rather than confirmed direct Capital One transfers. You may be able to transfer Capital One miles to British Airways and then move Avios between eligible linked accounts, but account and linking rules apply. Confirm the complete path before moving any points.
How to read the transfer ratios
Read each ratio as Capital One miles spent compared with partner points received.
At 1:1, a 50,000-mile award requires 50,000 Capital One miles. At 1.333:1, the same 50,000-mile award requires about 66,650 Capital One miles. At 1.667:1, it requires about 83,350 Capital One miles.
The hotel ratios move in both directions. Accor's 2:1 rate cuts your balance in half, while I Prefer's 1:2 rate doubles the numerical balance. That does not tell you which redemption is more valuable because one point in each program buys a different amount of travel.
These are baseline ratios observed on August 12 or 13, 2026. A temporary transfer bonus can improve the output, but this page does not claim that any bonus is active.
How to choose a Capital One transfer partner
Choose a partner only after finding a specific award and comparing its mileage price, fees, and booking rules.
You do not need to transfer to the airline operating the flight. Aeroplan, LifeMiles, and Turkish Miles&Smiles can book some Star Alliance partners. British Airways, Cathay, Finnair, JAL, Qantas, and Qatar can book some Oneworld partners. Access to a partner flight depends on the inventory released to that specific loyalty program.
Avios gives you several direct options. Capital One transfers directly to British Airways, Finnair, and Qatar at 1:1 in our corroborated data. The award price and cash charges can still differ between those programs, even for the same flight.
Do not choose a program from the transfer ratio alone. A 1:1 transfer can still be poor if the program charges more miles, adds large surcharges, or cannot see the seat you found elsewhere. A weaker transfer ratio can work if that program has a lower award price or access to inventory unavailable through another partner.
Check the seat before transferring
Confirm the exact flight in the program that will issue the ticket before moving Capital One miles.
An airline's own members may see seats that partners cannot book. Historical Aeroplan reporting also documented cases where United withheld some saver inventory from partners, which shows why a seat found in one program cannot be assumed to exist in another.
Search on the booking program's website or use an award-search tool, then verify the result directly with that program. Check the mileage price, taxes, carrier surcharges, passenger count, and travel date. Transfers are generally irreversible, and award inventory can disappear while a transfer is processing.
We verify the transfer math. You still need to confirm the seat at booking.
Before you move any points
- Every number here carries the date we checked it. That is what we saw that day, not a promise it still holds.
- We do not show live seat availability. Award space moves by the minute, so check it in the program you will book with.
- Before you transfer anything, confirm the flight, cabin, seat count and final cash price with the program issuing the ticket. Transfers between programs are one-way.
